What precautions should be taken when using URGO sterile gauze pads?
Regularly monitor a wound and its surroundings for signs of infection such as pain, redness, swelling, odor, or suppuration.
If in doubt or infection, contact a doctor or nursing service.
Sterile compresses for single use: do not reuse, do not store compresses in an open bag, do not reposition a compress that has already been applied, otherwise there is a risk of infection.
In case of redness, irritation, discontinue use
Compresses sterilized with ethylene oxide, do not re-sterilize. Check the integrity of the sterility protector before use. Do not use if packaging is damaged.
Do not use the compresses for more than 30 consecutive days without interruption. Keep out of reach and sight of children.
Do not use after the expiration date (indicated on the pouch and on the box).
Store the compress packets in their original box.

URGO sterile gauze pads are available in 2 formats:
- 7.5 cm x 7.5 cm
- 10 cm x 10 cm
And these compresses are available in boxes of 10, 25 or 50 compresses.
