URGOPLASTIC is a discreet, micro-perforated, highly adhesive tape indicated for the fixation, securing and monitoring of dressings or medical devices.

How should you use this product?
1. Apply to clean skin that has been disinfected with an antiseptic, rinsed with saline solution and dried.
2. The tape can be torn by hand to adjust the length as needed.
3. Remove gently and replace on average every 24 hours, or as prescribed.

What are the contraindications for URGOPLASTIC?
Not suitable for securing or retaining wet equipment or probes (haematology, resuscitation, incubators).
What precautions should you take when using this product?
- Keep out of reach of children.
- Designed to adhere to healthy skin.
- The simultaneous presence of greasy products or hair, use on damp areas, or use on joint areas, can affect adhesiveness, leading to loss of the secured medical device and delayed healing (infection, multiple dressing changes, etc.)
- When applying, do not create tension on the skin or the plaster (risk of irritation or tourniquet effect).
- To maintain optimal healing conditions, replace the plaster if it is wet or loses adhesiveness.
- The securing of medical equipment must be explained by a health professional.
- Do not sterilize.
Are there any side effects associated with URGOPLASTIC?
This plaster may cause skin reactions such as redness, irritation, dermatitis, or pain on removal, particularly on dry or damaged skin.
If a local reaction or itching occurs, stop using the product and consult a healthcare professional.
Contains rosin derivatives that may cause skin allergy.
To minimise any risk of infection or skin reactions:
Follow the instructions for use carefully. Do not reuse a used plaster.
Do not apply directly to damaged skin, eyes, or mucous membranes (risk of irritation, inflammation, or pain).
Do not use after the expiry date. Do not use a damaged product.
Any serious incident related to this product must be reported to URGO HEALTHCARE Laboratories and the National Health Agency.
