How should you use this product?

What are the contraindications for URGO corn removal plaster?
Do not use:
- If allergic to salicylates, beeswax or any other ingredient
- On infected corns
- In children aged under 16.
- In cases of arteritis, diabetes, neuropathy, circulation problems or peripheral circulation deficiency.
- On irritated, infected or reddened skin.
What precautions should you take when using URGO corn removal dressing?
- Do not apply the same dressing for more than 24 hours to maceration which can damage the skin and cause infection.
- Do not use the product for more than 8 days.
If there is no improvement after 8 days of treatment, consult your podiatrist.
Keep out of the reach of children.
This product is caustic. Position it carefully over the corn or callus. Do not allow it to spread beyond the treatment area. Anyone unable to apply the dressing themselves, including elderly patients, must seek assistance.
Stop use if pain occurs.
Medical advice is required before use for:
• People with thin skin or elderly patients.
• People with a foot dermatosis.
• People with reduced sensation in the foot.
If treatment fails or the condition recurs, consult your doctor. It may be worth investigating the underlying cause and addressing it accordingly (orthopaedic correction, footwear changes).
